What was your favourite part about your proposal?
My fiancé is a musician, and he made a 12-minute-long mixtape with messages from our loved ones to our favourite songs. He had my friends play it in the car on the drive to where he proposed — it was the most thoughtful gift I’ve ever received and made me feel so seen.

Who is your bridal style icon?
Grace Kelly. I tend to gravitate towards classic vintage styles and I love lace! Her gown is iconic and timeless.
How would you describe your dream bridal style in three words?
Vintage, Soft & Feminine.

Are you leaning toward a timeless gown or something trend-forward?
I’m fairly certain I know which gown I’m going to wear — I’m quite decisive and have a clear vision. It’s timeless & classic, with a modern twist and very me.
If your fiancé had to pick your dress, what do you think they’d choose?
I think he’d actually pick something quite close to the gown I’m leaning towards! Probably the biggest gown he saw.

What’s one fashion rule you’re happy to break for your wedding?
I’m not sure if this is a fashion rule, but I really don’t like “something blue” — I will not be wearing anything blue!

What do you think will be your “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”?
My grandmother already gave me a pendant that I’ll be wearing for something old, and I’ll be borrowing something from my fiancé’s late grandmother for something borrowed.

What’s one fashion moment you’re most excited for — walking down the aisle, the first dance, or the after-party?
Definitely walking down the aisle. We won’t be doing a first look and I truly just can’t wait to see him standing there. The gown is the most me thing I’ve ever seen, and I think it’s the perfect thing for him to see me in while we tie the knot!

What’s one wedding trend you know you’ll look back on and still love 20 years from now?
I really love heavy romantic drapery — not sure if we’ll be going that route, but I think it’s beautiful and will age so well.
